• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg)

• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Employment Type: W2 Contract
• Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama or Compact State (Registered Nurse license)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
