Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Puyallup, WA 98372 (Washington healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Level III Trauma Center, 375 Licensed Beds
• Unit: Operating Room (OR)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 01/12/2026 – End: 04/12/2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (Variable start times: 6:30am, 8:30am, 10:30am)
• On-Call: 4-6 shifts per 6-week period, including nights and weekends
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license required for Washington State
• Minimum 1 year of acute/inpatient Operating Room RN experience
• Strong clinical experience in ortho, sports medicine, spine, and robotics (DaVinci)
• Proven ability to circulate in adult cases: ENT (Thyroid), General, Ortho spine, Ortho (total joints), Gyn, vascular (AV fistula, Fem Pops), urology, podiatry
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork-oriented attitude
• Availability for weekend shifts and on-call rotation

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Circulate in a busy OR, supporting 40-50 surgical cases per day across multiple specialties
• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to adult and minimal pediatric patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Float to inpatient areas (Med-Surg, ICU, PCU, ED Holding, PACU) as needed, performing tasks within RN scope
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced healthcare environment
