• Facility: Level III Trauma Center, 375 Licensed Beds
• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room Nurse
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 12, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour days; variable start times (06:30, 08:30, 10:30); call and weekend shifts required
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• On-Call: 4-6 shifts per 6-week schedule, including nights and weekends (30-minute response time required)
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington RN jobs)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute/inpatient Operating Room RN experience preferred; strong OR experience required (less than 2 years considered with approval)
• Experience circulating in Ortho (total joints), sports medicine, spine, robotics (DaVinci), ENT, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and podiatry cases
• Robotic surgery experience (DaVinci XI) preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Demonstrated flexibility, reliability, and teamwork
• Must pass a rhythm exam prior to arrival
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate in a fast-paced OR, supporting 40-50 surgical cases daily across multiple specialties
• Deliver high-quality, safe patient care in accordance with hospital and nursing standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends as required
• Float to inpatient areas (MS, ICU, PCU, ED Holding, PACU) as needed, performing OR RN scope tasks (no patient assignments or medication administration when floating)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Demonstrate adaptability to changing department needs and schedules
• Comply with all safety and infection control protocols
