Key Job Details – Oregon Nursing Jobs
- Location: Coos Bay, OR 97420 (Oregon healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 12 weeks (January 6, 2026 – March 31, 2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Family Birth Center (LDRP)
- Nursing Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (variable days or nights: 7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Site Position
- Employment Type: Travel nursing job
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D RN jobs)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification [Required]
- Current NRP certification [Required]
- Experience with OBIX fetal surveillance and EPIC EHR systems [Highly Preferred]
- EFM and STABLE certifications [Highly Preferred]
- Oregon RN license (or willingness to obtain for Oregon nursing jobs)
- Resume and skills checklist (within 1 year) [Required]
Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in an LDRP setting, including OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care
- Utilize OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records
- Apply the nursing process within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Educate patients, families, and support persons about labor, delivery, and newborn care
- Accurately document patient care in medical records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Participate in every other weekend rotation; on-call as determined by department needs
