- Healthcare Setting: Telemetry Unit (5ACJK*NH)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Contract
- Start Date: January 18, 2026
- End Date: April 18, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shift: Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), every other weekend
- Hours per Week: 36 (3x12-hour shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kentucky or compact state)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient acute care RN experience (Telemetry nursing experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments in a telemetry unit
- Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses to clinical interventions
- Provide patient and family education throughout hospitalization and discharge
- Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel, serving as mentor and preceptor
- Promote teamwork and participate in healthcare quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance model
