Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of start)
• Submission of recent work history and ICU skills checklist (within 1 year)
• Two completed supervisory reference forms with employment dates
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Mattoon, IL

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in the ICU
• Conduct comprehensive assessments using age-specific data
• Perform and document ongoing assessments, including physical exams, lab/test results, and patient responses
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning for optimal patient outcomes
• Support fellow healthcare staff in patient care delivery
• Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure best outcomes
