Atlanta Nursing Job Details

  • Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 – Upscale neighborhood with access to parks, shopping, and healthcare facilities
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: January 19, 2026
  • End Date: April 18, 2026
  • Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday (7:30am – 4:00pm)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Setting: Perioperative unit with 3 pre-op bays, 2 PACU bays, and 2 operating rooms (Phase 1 PACU only)
  • Employment Type: Travel nursing job

Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in perioperative or surgical nursing
  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
  • Strong clinical skills in operating room and perioperative care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Must be willing to work on-site; no local candidates within 50 miles

OR RN Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room, pre-op, and PACU settings
  • Assist with surgical procedures in a specialized urology surgical unit
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
  • Deliver compassionate support to patients and families throughout the surgical experience
