Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (17101)
Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) / Open Heart
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
Start Date: January 12, 2026
End Date: April 14, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Options: 8-hour shifts (5x8 or 4x10 hour shifts preferred)
Hours per Week: 40
Call Requirement: Minimum 7 days of call per month

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered RN license (Pennsylvania preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Proficient in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to participate in scheduled on-call rotation

CVOR Nurse Responsibilities

Assist with all phases of cardiovascular operating room procedures: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care
Maintain strict sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes
Accurately document patient care activities in the EMR
Participate in the on-call rotation as required
