Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN license (required prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse
• BLS certification required
• Ability to take frequent on-call shifts and work consecutive weekends as needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
• Monitor and assess patients undergoing cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Administer medications and manage IVs as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
