Travel Nursing Job Details

• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown

• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5/1:6

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or acute care nursing jobs
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Ability to float to inpatient units (SDU, MCU, Medical/Surgical, ED for boarded patients)
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients and their families
• Utilize the nursing process to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes
• Provide relationship-based care and demonstrate technical proficiency in clinical support
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care
• Demonstrate leadership and contribute to professional nursing practice
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support patient care
• Perform additional RN duties as assigned
