Qualifications – Operating Room RN

  • Active Arizona RN License (Registered Nurse)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary surgical healthcare team

Responsibilities – OR Registered Nurse

  • Provide expert patient care in the operating room, demonstrating clinical judgment and leadership
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain surgical supply availability and manage case timeliness
  • Communicate with patients' families and update physician preference cards
  • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
  • Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR
  • Comply with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, regulatory standards, and hospital policies
