Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment

Location: Johnstown, PA 15905 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, 22-bed Operating Room
Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts (9am-5pm, 11am-7pm, 1pm-9pm, 3pm-11pm); includes weekends and on-call (1-2 times per week, 8-hour call increments)
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Electronic Health Record: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in PA)
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI/HWC
Ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and take on-call as scheduled
Completion of all required screenings and Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
Preferred: Experience in Level 1 trauma, charge RN, or robotic surgery
Comfortable caring for all age groups in a fast-paced surgical setting

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a 1:1 setting
Assist with surgical specialties: orthopedics, gynecology, OB, plastics, general, cardiovascular, neuro, urology, breast, and podiatry
Participate in call rotation and respond promptly to emergent surgical needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as needed and adapt to changing priorities
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EHR
Adhere to facility policies, dress code (blue scrubs provided), and uphold professional nursing standards
