Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, NC 28301 (North Carolina nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Healthcare Setting: Long Term Acute Care / Med/Surg Telemetry
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 4 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float to similar units or sister campuses as needed
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 12 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (Registered Nurse jobs in NC)
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• LTAC (Long Term Acute Care) experience preferred
• Must pass advanced EKG exam for compliance
• Not accepting first-time travelers or local candidates within 50 miles

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform wound care
• Care for ventilated patients, manage central and arterial lines, and provide tracheostomy care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, and pharmacy
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float to similar units as needed to support facility needs
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
