- Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Float Pool (Travel Nursing)
- Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract
- Unit: Resource Float Pool – Med/Surg
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
- Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Float Requirement: Required to all Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units within hospital; possible float to sister campus (approx. 3 miles away)
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (approx. 6 weekends per contract)
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
- EPIC charting experience (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Ability to float to all Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units as needed
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compliance with facility onboarding and orientation requirements
RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric patients across Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
- Float between units and campuses as required to meet patient care needs
- Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
- Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays per assignment requirements
