• Job Title: Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Float Pool (Travel Nursing)
• Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract
• Unit: Resource Float Pool – Med/Surg
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Float Requirement: Required to all Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units within hospital; possible float to sister campus (approx. 3 miles away)
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend (approx. 6 weekends per contract)
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
• EPIC charting experience (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Ability to float to all Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compliance with facility onboarding and orientation requirements

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric patients across Med/Surg and Med/Surg Tele units
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient status using EPIC electronic health records
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Float between units and campuses as required to meet patient care needs
• Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
• Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays per assignment requirements
