• Location: Baltimore, Maryland (21201) – Access to top restaurants, museums, and the scenic Inner Harbor
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: May 18, 2026
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30), every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• Patient Population: Adult Cardiac Patients
• Unit: Cardiac Invasive RN (Cath Lab)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State (required for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (3 years preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only) required
• CPI certification preferred (may be required for compliance)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Ability to float within specialty and to sister units as needed
• Two professional references from recent supervisors/managers
• Local candidates must live 50+ miles from facility

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including procedural sedation and emergency interventions
• Administer and manage antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, and emergency medications
• Assist with central line insertion, cardiac stent placement, pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, and device management
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment (Impella, IABP, IVUS/FFR/DFR, Rotablator, etc.)
• Participate in advanced cardiac procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, CTO, atherectomy, and more
• Float to related units and adapt to varying patient acuity as needed
• Document care accurately and efficiently per hospital policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
