- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Not required
- Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Charting System: Epic EMR
- Scrub Color: Any color
- Parking: Free onsite parking
Emergency Room RN Qualifications
- Active Washington or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (1.5+ years preferred)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Strong clinical skills in triage, airway management, ventilator care, central and arterial line management, IV drips, and emergency medications
- Experience caring for neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics in a fast-paced emergency department
- Willingness to work every other weekend
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform triage, assessment, and treatment for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and behavioral health emergencies
- Administer medications, manage IV drips, and deliver advanced airway and ventilator support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Follow infection control, isolation precautions, and safety protocols
- Complete orientation and required training modules prior to start
