• Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Unit: Neuro Critical Care (NCC); may float to Medical Critical Care as needed
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period (Friday/Saturday nights)
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 major holiday blocks (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Charting System: Cerner EMR (Cerner experience required)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (Neuro Critical Care preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee – Tennessee RN jobs (license in hand required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Stroke certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical record system
• Ability to float within scope to support facility needs
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holiday blocks as outlined
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travel nurses not accepted
• Pending licenses not accepted
• Local candidates within a 25-mile radius not accepted

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in Neuro Critical Care and Medical Critical Care units
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient care activities in Cerner EMR
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Float to other critical care units as needed to support patient care
