Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Connecticut nursing license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience required
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting

Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and response to oncology treatments
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and prescribed treatments
• Educate patients and families about cancer diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Promote a safe, healing environment for patients and healthcare staff
