• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab RN)
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 9-10 days per month, including two weekend call shifts per contract
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Unit: 7520 Cath Lab RN (3 procedure rooms, 11 visits/day)

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas or Compact State (license in hand required at submission)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and serve as a patient advocate in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional studies
• Administer medications, monitor procedural sedation, and maintain strict sterilization techniques
• Operate specialized equipment: MacLab, Impella, Penumbra, Laser, Rotoblade, CSI, Hybrid OR, Pacemaker systems
• Perform and assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and vascular interventions
• Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, including weekends
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection prevention protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
