Colorado Nursing Job Details

• Location: Wray, Colorado – Ideal for nurses seeking Colorado healthcare jobs in a friendly small-town setting with scenic prairie landscapes.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract (February 16, 2026 – May 16, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week (6am–4:30pm or 7am–5:30pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: One weekday call per week (5pm–6am) and one weekend per month (24-hour call)
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – Surgery
• Type: Travel nursing job

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci and/or Mako robots) preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Assist with diverse surgical cases: orthopedics (totals), ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, general surgery (appendectomy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, bowel procedures, hernia repair), C-sections, ENT (tonsillectomies), colonoscopies, and EGDs
• Operate and support advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci and Mako robotic systems
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
