• End Date: April 20, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Floating: Required (to Med-Surg if no ICU patients)
• Rotating Weekends: Yes

ICU Nurse Qualifications

• Active NM or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems
• Community hospital nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to Med-Surg and similar clinical units
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Administer emergency medications and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Perform ventilator management and care for ventilated patients
• Assist with chest tube insertion/removal, arterial line management, and central line care
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Implement infection prevention and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Float to Med-Surg unit as needed, following brief orientation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team including PT, RT, pharmacy, and more
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
