• Location: Richmond, Kentucky (40475)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 4 days/week, 9-hour day shifts (06:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Weekend and holiday on-call required; must report within 30 minutes
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Kentucky or compact RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
• Proficient in procedural sedation, circulating, and both diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Scrub experience preferred
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two professional references

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Cath Lab, including pre- and post-procedure support
• Circulate and assist with diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, interventional cath procedures, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation for cardiac procedures
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and arrhythmias
• Monitor and manage pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz catheters
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely patient documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent cardiac cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols in the clinical setting
