Key Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Richmond, Kentucky (40475)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Shift: 4 days/week, 9-hour day shifts (06:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: Weekend and holiday on-call required; must report within 30 minutes
- Employment Type: Travel nursing job
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Kentucky or compact RN license (required at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
- Proficient in procedural sedation, circulating, and both diagnostic/interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring
- Scrub experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Two professional references
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Cath Lab, including pre- and post-procedure support
- Circulate and assist with diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, interventional cath procedures, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation for cardiac procedures
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and arrhythmias
- Monitor and manage pulmonary artery lines and Swan Ganz catheters
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely patient documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergent cardiac cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols in the clinical setting
