• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract
• Location: Hinesville, Georgia (31313) – Georgia nursing jobs
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Labor & Delivery Unit
• Start Date: December 27, 2025
• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Charting System: TruBridge - Evident

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license – Georgia or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery in an acute care setting
• Monitor patient status, recognize complications, and respond to obstetric emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using the TruBridge - Evident electronic health record system
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn health
