PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (PACU or pre/post-operative nursing preferred)
• Experience in PACU and Ambulatory Surgery required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• Up-to-date PACU skills checklist (within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms completed in the last two years
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from Midland, MI

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care for PACU and ambulatory surgery patients following physician orders and nursing standards
• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and responding to patient needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate and update patient treatment plans
• Accurately process physician/provider orders in a timely manner
• Monitor and follow up on medication changes and order clarifications
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required
