Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota (57105)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:30am – 7:00pm), one late shift per week (8:30am – 9:00pm), and 2-4 night call shifts every 4 weeks. May work every 5th weekend day shift as needed, with a weekday off to compensate.
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – 35 ORs
• Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs provided; must adhere to surgical dress code
• Charting System: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in South Dakota
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Experience circulating in the OR required
• Ability to work independently and flexibly across all surgical specialties
• Willingness to take call shifts, including nights and weekends
• Must badge in and out at the healthcare facility

OR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate for assigned operating room, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver high-quality patient care
• Prepare operating rooms and verify all equipment and supplies are available
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care in the EPIC charting system
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including dress code and attendance
