Shift: Variable day shift positions with call; flexibility to cover all shifts required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Montana RN license (required for Montana nursing jobs)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree)
American Heart Association BLS certification (required)
American Heart Association ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience (circulating and/or scrub preferred)
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, effective patient care in the operating room
Assess patient needs and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
Plan and implement patient and family education
Collect and analyze comprehensive clinical data pertinent to patient health
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
Promote a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
Maintain professional standards and adhere to hospital policies and protocols
Participate in ongoing education, including stroke competency training
Demonstrate sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment
