Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Cath Lab RN
• Location: Mesquite, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth metro area)
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: April 26, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM (8-hour shifts, flexible schedule)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call Requirement: Rotating call (12-15 days/month & every other weekend)
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrubs: Any color (hospital-provided scrubs available)

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
• Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
• Completion of onboarding screenings and checklists (skills checklist, pharmacology exam, rhythm interpretation, background check, drug screening, health immunizations)
• Two professional references and updated nursing resume

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians and Cath Lab team with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Administer medications and manage IVs
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
• Respond to emergencies and participate in scheduled on-call coverage
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment per hospital and healthcare policies
