Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Munster, Indiana 46321
• Healthcare Setting: 2 North – Telemetry Unit (24 beds)
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), including alternate weekends
• Hours per Week: 36
• Floating: Required to float to other departments, including Dyer
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Current BLS certification
• Telemetry certification required
• EKG exam completion
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or medical/surgical nursing (5 years preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR documentation
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Completion of required nursing education modules prior to start date

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a 24-bed telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and manage IVs using Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, and SCD machines
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
• Ensure patient safety with telemetry monitors and posey alarms
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote patient and staff satisfaction
• Float to other hospital departments as required
