Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Minneapolis, MN (55426) – Minnesota nursing jobs
• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Start Date: January 10, 2026
• End Date: April 4, 2026
• Duration: 12-week contract
• Shift: 10-hour Day/Evening rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 30-40
• Weekend/Holiday: As needed

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of recent PACU or Perianesthesia nursing experience (3-5 years preferred)
• ACLS, BLS (AHA only), and PALS certifications
• Tele training required; must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips
• Proficient IV skills and experience titrating pressors
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, including cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Administer medications and titrate pressors as needed
• Start and manage IVs with proficiency
• Provide care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Float to other peri-anesthesia areas as required
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
