Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Florence, SC 29506
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks (January 18, 2026 – April 18, 2026)
• Shift: 10 Hour Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Unit: Operating Room (OR)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in multiple surgical service lines preferred (General, Neuro, Ortho, Robotics)
• Ability to work flexible assignments and participate in on-call rotations
• Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and documentation

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent patient care and customer service in a surgical healthcare setting
• Assess patient needs using history, observation, physical exams, and diagnostic data
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team members in urgent and routine situations
• Implement nursing interventions per Plan of Care and physician orders
• Complete Safe Surgery checklists and uphold service excellence standards
• Document all nursing care accurately and promptly
• Utilize health and safety equipment; perform duties inside and outside the sterile field
• Prepare the operating room and position patients for surgical procedures
• Serve as a communication liaison between families and the surgical team
• Support efficient daily operations of the operating room department
• Engage in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities
• Assist with supply and equipment management
• Perform circulating nurse duties with speed and efficiency
• Participate in scheduled on-call assignments
