Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Madison, Wisconsin (53715) – Wisconsin nursing jobs
- Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026, End: 4/20/2026)
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: May float to Postpartum unit within discipline
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Proof of taxable address more than 50 miles from facility
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- 1 supervisory reference required
- License verification and copies of required certifications
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to Postpartum unit as needed
- Document patient care in EPIC EMR system
- Participate in required holiday coverage (2 of 3 major winter holidays)
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
