Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Burlington, VT 05401 – Vermont nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Teaching hospital, Resource Float Unit
• Contract Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: February 1, 2026
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet patient care needs
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont or compact state
• 2+ years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in U.S. healthcare jobs
• Experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS required before start)
• PCCN and orthopedic certifications preferred
• Reliable transportation required (no public transit access)
• Vehicles must have all-season or snow tires November–April
• Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type) required for submission
• Explain all employment gaps over 90 days

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced teaching hospital
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and safety
• Adapt to changing unit needs and schedules, including every other weekend
• Utilize Epic EMR for accurate clinical documentation and patient management
• Participate in bi-weekly orientations and ongoing professional development
