Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota (Zip: 57701) – South Dakota nursing jobs
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 01/19/2026 – End: 04/20/2026)
Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Surgical Hospital
Shift: 10-hour days with on-call rotation
Hours: 40 hours per week
Dress Code: Ceil Blue scrubs provided
Charting System: EPIC electronic medical records

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active SD or compact state RN license – Registered Nurse license required
Minimum 3 years of recent operating room (OR) circulator experience
Strong orthopedic surgery experience, including total joints and arthroscopy
Robotics experience required; MAKO robot highly preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
Experience with spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF, general surgery, ENT, GYN, and plastics cases

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate in the operating room for orthopedic procedures (total joints, MAKO, arthroscopy)
Assist with spine, foot and ankle, hand, ORIF, and a variety of general surgical cases
Operate advanced surgical equipment, including the MAKO robot
Document accurately using the EPIC charting system
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, including badging and dress code
Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care
