Travel Nursing Job Details

  • Location: Bemidji, MN 56601 (Minnesota nursing jobs)
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
  • Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – OB/L&D Unit
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts (rotating holidays, every 3rd weekend)
  • Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
  • Employment Type: Travel RN assignment

L&D Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Active Minnesota RN license (required for Minnesota healthcare jobs)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent OB/L&D nursing experience, including Postpartum and Pediatrics
  • BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications
  • Experience with EPIC or other EMR systems
  • Willingness to float to Telemetry and Med-Surg units as needed
  • Ability to provide care in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatrics
  • At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required

L&D RN Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care for postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric, newborn, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients
  • Serve as a second RN in the Special Care Nursery when needed
  • Operate clinical equipment including EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips Vitals Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, and Medfusion Pumps
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: ward clerks, CNAs, charge nurses, resource nurses, and LPN scrub nurses
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
  • Float to Telemetry and Med-Surg units as required
  • Participate in unit orientation and adhere to facility policies (badge in/out, navy blue scrubs)
