Shift: Nights (19:00–07:00), 12-hour night shifts — PCU RN (per source data)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nurse pay)
Work Setting: On-site Progressive Care Unit (PCU / step-down unit)

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or a valid compact state RN license
Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU), step-down, or acute care nursing experience
BLS certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered night shift environment

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to intermediate-acuity patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, including telemetry monitoring when applicable
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
