Med/Surg RN Requirements

• Experience: No minimum years of RN experience required
• License/Eligibility: RN (per facility and state requirements)
• Certifications: Unit/facility-required certifications may be requested during onboarding (per facility standards)
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families

Travel Nurse Responsibilities (Medical-Surgical)

• Provide safe, high-quality bedside nursing care to Med/Surg patients in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
• Complete comprehensive and focused assessments, monitor patient status, and escalate changes in condition using sound clinical judgment
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and established protocols
• Coordinate care with providers and the care team to support continuity of care
• Deliver patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge planning
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation per facility policy and regulatory standards
