• On-Call Requirement: Participation in on-call shifts may be required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in operating room nursing required
• Clinical experience with cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced surgical environments

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team with instrument handling, patient positioning, and procedural needs
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and respond to intraoperative emergencies
• Accurately document patient care, surgical counts, and perioperative activities
• Participate in on-call shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety
