Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or active Compact RN license (Nurse Licensure Compact)
Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary healthcare collaboration
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment and manage multiple patients safely

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care on the Medical/Surgical unit following hospital and nursing standards
Monitor, assess, and document patient condition, vital signs, and responses to treatment
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per provider orders
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Perform patient education and discharge planning in alignment with care plans
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
