ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680–$1,770/week
• Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
• Location: Gadsden, AL 35903

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (through 5/4/2026)
• Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; every other weekend required
• Shift Length: 12-hour night shifts

• Work Setting: On-site, hospital-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Travel ICU RN Requirements

• RN License: Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate RN license (no prior NURSYS hits)
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS
• Experience: 2+ years of recent ICU RN / critical care experience, including experience caring for vented patients and managing vasoactive drips
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred
• Travel Eligibility: Must reside 50+ miles from the facility

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care during scheduled night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a hospital-based ICU
• Monitor patient status and report changes per facility guidelines
• Document patient care and required information in the EMR in a timely manner
• Support unit operations by following hospital policies, safety standards, and assigned workflows
