• Shifts: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00–17:30 or 11:00–21:00); mix of two 12-hour (7:30am–8pm) and two 8-hour shifts (7am–3:30pm or 11:30am–8pm)

Interventional Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience (Level I Trauma or travel healthcare experience preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Fluoro Permit
• Active Connecticut State License (pending accepted, must be active prior to start)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Travel experience required
• Professional reference required
• Flu Vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Not accepting local candidates (must be >75 miles from facility)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures: angiography, stenting, thrombectomy, TIPS, venous access, ablations, embolizations
• Operate and maintain specialized radiology equipment (Inari thrombectomy, IVUS, ablation units, excimer laser, cone beam CT)
• Provide bi-campus coverage to support hospital needs
• Maintain sterile field and assist with equipment setup
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, Pharmacy, Transportation)
• Care for diverse patient populations: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Document procedures and patient care in Epic EMR
• Participate in orientation and complete required training modules
