Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
- Unit: OR FLOAT
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start date: 2/9/2026 preferred, or 2/23/2026)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (Day/Evening rotation, variable shifts, weekends, and call required)
- Shift Options: 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts; weekend shifts are 12 hours, with 8 or 10 hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license with Operating Room (OR) specialty (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Level I trauma center experience required
- Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and participate in call rotation
- Completion of all onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, references, and required documentation
OR RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a high-acuity OR setting
- Float between multiple surgical specialties, including pediatric and adult cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in call rotation and work variable shifts, including weekends
