• Location: Peoria, IL 61637 (Central Illinois)
• Assignment Type: Travel, On-site (Travel Nurse / travel nursing job)
• Start Date: March 4, 2026
• End Date: June 3, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4 days/week, 9-hour day shifts (between 06:30–18:00; not self-scheduling)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,820 – $2,970
• Unit: 6 IR labs with pre-op and phase 2 recovery; 20–30 cases/day
• Call Requirements: Primary and secondary call; 6–8 shifts per 6 weeks (includes weekends/holidays); 30-minute response
• Dress Code: Surgical scrubs provided
• Charting System: Epic

Required Qualifications — Interventional Radiology Nurse

• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in Interventional Radiology, ICU, ED, or procedural services (radiology nursing / peri-procedural nursing preferred)
• License: Active Illinois RN license or proof of application in process (Illinois travel nursing jobs)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Skills: EKG interpretation and IV drip titration experience required
• Technical: Epic experience preferred
• Compliance: Must be able to pass a drug screen and complete onboarding

Key Responsibilities — IR RN / Procedural Nurse

• Provide safe, high-quality peri-procedural nursing care across pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and phase 2 recovery
• Monitor and interpret EKGs, titrate IV drips, and respond to acute patient changes
• Support a diverse IR case mix: GI bleeds, stroke interventions, biopsies, central line placements, drains, and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with IR techs, PCTs, radiologists, and charge nurses to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic
• Participate in scheduled call coverage (including weekends/holidays) with a 30-minute response time
• Follow department protocols for infection control, radiation safety, and procedural standards
