Radiologic Technologist Job Details

Location: Springfield, MA (01104) – Massachusetts healthcare jobs
Setting: Hospital and outpatient radiology departments
Employment Type: Travel Mammography Tech, Direct Hire
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2180 - $2580 per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
Hours per Week: 40
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with option to extend or transition to permanent placement
Openings: 2 Mammography Technologist positions
On Call: No
Weekends: No

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in Mammography or Radiologic Technology
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology – Mammography
Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license or pending MA application
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Ability to provide a Self-Query NPDB report
Experience with Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS clinical documentation systems preferred

Key Responsibilities

Perform stereotactic biopsies, breast ultrasound biopsies, breast localization procedures, and mammography/ultrasound guided biopsies
Deliver high-quality breast imaging and patient care to adolescent, child, adult, and geriatric populations
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare support staff
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic, PowerScribe, and PACS systems
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in radiology
