Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; IR, radiology, or critical care experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Current New Hampshire RN license or ability to obtain (compact license accepted where applicable)
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with sedation monitoring, vascular access support, and procedural nursing in imaging environments
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to respond to urgent/emergent situations

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Prepare patients for procedures, assist the IR team, and monitor patients receiving moderate/conscious sedation
• Continuously assess vital signs and patient response; respond quickly to contrast reactions and procedure-related complications
• Support vascular access procedures and post-procedure recovery and education
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to infection prevention protocols, and follow radiology department standards
