• End Date: June 9, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30) — Night Shift Telemetry RN
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1460 - $1540
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Epic EMR (proficiency level 3 or 4 required)
• Scrub Color: White
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Floating: May float within scope to nearby hospitals within 20 miles
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 18 months recent PCU/stepdown experience required; 2 years preferred. Recent ICU experience required — ideal for Telemetry RN and PCU RN candidates.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license accepted (pending license accepted)
• Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS required at submission; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• Epic Experience: Proficiency level 3 or 4 in Epic EMR required
• Clinical Skills: Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, rapid response/code team participation, blood product administration, central/peripheral line care, cardiac drips (no titration), oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions/PPE
• Testing: EKG and pharmacology competency tests required during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each; unsuccessful results may result in assignment cancellation)
• References: Two references from a direct supervisor/manager, ANM, or director required
• Compliance: Must be nicotine-free (negative 10-panel + cotinine drug screen required)
• Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-Time Travelers: First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown/PCU and telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry, recognizing and responding promptly to rhythm changes
• Administer medications and blood products per protocol and document accurately in Epic EMR
• Perform central and peripheral line care and adhere to infection prevention standards
• Support oxygen delivery and non-invasive airway management as needed
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities as a Telemetry RN
• Float within scope to support patient care needs at nearby facilities when required
• Complete all required onboarding modules, competency testing, and compliance documentation by assigned deadlines
