• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026 – End: 4/27/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs Required
• EMR: Epic (electronic medical records) — Epic EMR experience required

Job Requirements — Registered Nurse (RN) / Travel Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score OR 2 years of RN experience (no testing required)
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission (if less than 2 years of experience)
• Epic EMR experience required — experience with inpatient neurology documentation a plus
• Ability to wear navy blue scrubs
• Strong communication, patient education, and teamwork skills
• Travel candidates only (local candidates from ineligible counties are not accepted)

Responsibilities — Neurology RN / Neuro Unit Duties

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to neurology patients in the neuro unit as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Perform neurological assessments and frequent neuro checks; monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; follow established neuro and stroke pathways when applicable
• Educate patients and families about neurological conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care
• Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
