ICU RN Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Ontario, Ohio (Zip: 44906) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Employment Type: Travel, Part-Time
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 – End: 5/11/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 2x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: ICU (601-07)
• Orientation: 16 hours

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with medication scanning
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to float to other campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as needed
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to arrive at the facility within 1 hour if on call
• Strong work history with two recent supervisory references
• Completion of pre-start modules (up to 8 hours, non-billable)

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Manage dysrhythmias, arterial and central lines, and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management and ventilator care
• Perform suctioning (ETT, NT) and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Float to other ICU units at Bucyrus and Galion campuses if census drops
• Work every other weekend as required; submit time-off requests (max 7 days)
• Make up missed shifts and arrange coverage if scheduled during requested time off
• Maintain accurate documentation using hospital charting systems
