- End Date: July 4, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), straight nights, every other weekend required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Number of Openings: 3
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Work Setting: On-site, CWN 5 Labor and Delivery Unit (hospital-based L&D)

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license or compact state license as applicable)
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Submission of resume, references, and completed skills checklist
- Successful completion of background screening and onboarding health documentation (MMR, Influenza, TB, Health Statement, etc.)
- Preferred: current BLS and fetal monitoring competency / EFM training (if available)
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring patients and their families in a busy L&D unit
- Monitor maternal and fetal status; interpret fetal heart tracings and respond promptly to changes (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM)
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; manage labor analgesia per unit protocol
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, operative procedures, and emergent obstetric situations
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, safe care
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner using the unit's clinical systems
