Operating Room RN Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Location: Camden, NJ (Zip: 08103) – New Jersey healthcare jobs
• Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (11:00am – 11:00pm), 3 shifts per week
• Contract Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,145 – $2,383
• Start Date: February 25, 2026
• Holiday Coverage: Must work 1 summer and 1 fall/winter holiday (if off the holiday, must work the day before or after); must work a winter hallmark and spring hallmark

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Level 1 trauma nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license (required for New Jersey nursing jobs)
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong attention to detail for patient safety and quality care
• Excellent organizational skills for perioperative and clinical support
• Submission of all required documents as one "Submission Profile" (Cover Letter, Resume, Skills Checklist, References, License Verification)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a Level 1 trauma center
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patient safety and maintain strict adherence to clinical protocols
• Coordinate care and manage workflow in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Participate in holiday and hallmark shift coverage as scheduled
