Sonographer Job Details

Location: Boise, Idaho (Zip: 83706) – Idaho healthcare jobs
Setting: Hospital – Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit
Assignment Duration: 9 weeks (Start: 2/8/2026 – End: 4/11/2026)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8 Hour Days)

Sonographer Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Hospital Sonographer or in maternal fetal medicine
Current RDMS certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency credentials required)
ARRT certification preferred
Current BLS certification
Ability to work on-site and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Sonographer Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations for maternal fetal medicine patients, including OB/GYN and nuchal translucency scans
Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging and patient care
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with hospital protocols
Document and communicate findings effectively within the electronic medical record system
Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout their imaging experience
